Server Features & Plugins​

PCX uses a variety of plugins to enhance your gameplay experience while keeping things feeling vanilla. Here's everything you need to know about our server features.

Cross-Platform Play (Bedrock & Java)​

PCX supports both Java and Bedrock Edition players on the same servers!

Connecting:

• Java Edition: play.pcx.sh
• Bedrock Edition: play.pcx.sh:19132

Account Linking:
Bedrock players can link their account to a Java account to use Java skins. Run /linkaccount in-game and follow the prompts.

Note: Bedrock player names are prefixed with a period (e.g., .PlayerName) to distinguish them from Java players.

Land Protection (Lands)​

Protect your builds and create communities with our land claiming system.

Basic Commands:

• /lands create <name> — Create a new land
• /lands claim — Claim the chunk you're standing in
• /lands menu — Open the lands GUI menu
• /lands trust <player> — Trust a player in your land
• /lands untrust <player> — Remove a player's trust
• /lands spawn — Teleport to your land's spawn
• /lands setspawn — Set your land's spawn point
• /lands map — View a map of nearby claimed chunks

Features:

• Claim chunks to protect your builds from griefing
• Create roles with custom permissions (build, container access, etc.)
• Invite friends and manage who can do what
• Set up sub-areas within your land with different permissions
• Create nations by uniting multiple lands
• Rent or sell areas of your land to other players

Container Protection (ChestProtect)​

Even outside of claimed land, your chests and containers are automatically protected.

Commands:

• /cprot — Open the protection menu
• /cprot trust <player> — Allow a player to access your containers
• /cprot untrust <player> — Remove access
• /cprot info — View protection info for a container (punch it after)

Protects: Chests, barrels, shulker boxes, furnaces, hoppers, and more.

Better Farming​

Farming is enhanced with quality-of-life improvements.

Features:

• Right-click harvesting — Right-click fully grown crops to harvest and auto-replant
• Crop growth info — See growth stages and time remaining
• Farm management — Create designated farm areas with custom settings

Commands:

• /farm — Open the farming menu
• /farm create <name> — Create a new farm area

Faster Furnaces​

Upgrade your furnaces for faster smelting speeds.

Commands:

• /furnace — Open the furnace upgrade menu
• /furnace upgrade — Upgrade a furnace (look at it first)

How it works: Place a furnace and use the upgrade menu to increase its smelting speed. Higher tiers smelt items faster but may cost resources to upgrade.

Vane Enhancements​

Vane adds immersive, lore-friendly features that enhance vanilla gameplay.

Quality of Life:

• Double doors — Both doors open/close together automatically
• Better harvesting — Right-click crops to harvest and replant
• Item finder — Use /finditem <item> to locate items in nearby chests
• Chest sorting — Place a button on/near chests and press it to sort

Custom Items:

• Sickle — Harvest crops in a larger area
• File — Change the shape of walls, fences, stairs, and glass panes
• Trowel — Place random blocks from your hotbar for gradient building
• North Compass — A compass that actually points north
• Pouch & Backpack — Extra inventory storage
• Portal Scrolls — Teleport to home, spawn, death location, or lodestones
• XP Bottles — Store your experience in bottles for later

Custom Enchantments:
Find Ancient Tomes in dungeon loot to craft powerful enchantments:

• Angel — Sneak while flying to speed up (Elytra)
• Grappling Hook — Use fishing rods to pull yourself (Fishing Rod)
• Soulbound — Items stay in inventory on death
• Takeoff — Launch into the air when opening Elytra
• Unbreakable — Item never breaks
• And more...

Plot Flags:
Customize your plot settings with /plot flag set <flag> <value>:

• pvp — Enable/disable PvP
• time — Set plot time (day/night/specific)
• weather — Set plot weather
• fly — Allow/deny flying
• gamemode — Set gamemode for visitors

Additional Features​

• Smooth night skipping — When 50%+ of players sleep, night transitions smoothly to day
• Creeper explosion protection — Creeper damage is rebuilt automatically
• All recipes unlocked — No need to discover recipes
• Anvil cost limit — No more "Too Expensive!" messages
